I don't just look for problems. I work to understand buildings—and I care about the people who call them home.
How it all started
My career began with a strong foundation. The person who trained me was also a mold assessor, and I learned early how moisture, ventilation, and environmental conditions can affect a home. That experience sparked my interest in building science and led me to study independently how building materials, mechanical systems, moisture, temperature, and airflow interact.
Curiosity made me a better inspector
I've never been satisfied with simply recognizing a defect. I want to understand how things work, what conditions can contribute to deterioration, and which warning signs might point to a larger concern. I've continued learning through more than 2,000 inspections, independent study, and conversations with contractors and experienced tradespeople.
That understanding helps me become a more observant inspector. During a standard home inspection, my responsibility is to identify and document visible conditions, explain why they matter, and recommend further evaluation when appropriate—not to speculate about causes that haven't been established.
Why I started Pinetree Inspections
After working with established home inspection companies throughout South Florida, I built Pinetree Inspections around my own values: thorough inspections, honest communication, attention to detail, and genuine care for clients. I love what I do, whether I'm inspecting a family home or a luxury property.
Beyond the inspection
I'm also a husband and a father. Family is a big part of who I am, and it shapes how I approach my work. I understand that a home is more than a transaction: it's where people build their lives, raise their children, and create memories. I take that trust seriously and want my clients to have the information they need to make decisions that are right for them.
The more I understand how a home works, the better I can recognize when something isn't right.
